Unfolded against the backdrop of Lynda Benglis’ captivating water-spouting sculptures, at the heart of Loewe’s Spring Summer 2024 collection is designer Jonathan Anderson’s vision of whimsical and clean silhouettes.
For the bright and beautiful season ahead, he presented a selection of fabrics that are dipped in vibrant hues. Everyday attire has undergone a stunning transformation, making it suitable for any occasion. Particularly stealing the spotlight were sleeveless ponchos cleverly integrated into buttoned blankets, as well as high-waisted pants and classic blazers, all meticulously designed to elevate the everyday wardrobe.
Almost every garment has a twist. Short skirts have a tag-along piece, flowers cascade down in a blouse, while another blouse ‘folds up’ to be tucked by a pin.
A harmonious blend of full sparkly ensembles and sleek leather jumpsuits adorned the runway, embracing a diverse color palette encompassing gentle pastels, rich blues, earthy khakis, and classic black.
The Squeeze bag, with its unique squishy handle, is meticulously handcrafted, exuding a delightful softness. The Pebble Bucket, adorned with its distinctive gilded hardware in the shape of pebbles, is reimagined in various sizes, reflecting shifting perspectives and tastes.
Jewelry pieces born from the collaborative genius of Lynda Benglis transformed into wearable sculptures that defy usual designs. Moreover, an enchanting array of radiant floral brooches breathe new life into top aesthetics, while the glistening crystals gracing exaggerated round-toe shoes imbue Loewe’s silhouettes with an enduring luminance.
