Mandala Masters, a culinary residency program, presents a unique opportunity for Singaporean diners to dig into the most flavorful and diverse Indian cuisine. For its fifth culinary series, the club chose Indian Accent, an award-winning restaurant.
The New Delhi-based restaurant is ranked the 19th best restaurant in Asia and is known for its inventive Indian cuisine. Indian Accent has an outpost in New York as well. Adding another location, Indian Accent is soon-to-open at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai.
The culinary program by Mandala Masters, which has previously invited prominent chefs such as the 2 Michelin starred Narisawa, and Gaggan Anand, is going to host the celebrated Chef Manish Mehrotra and Chef Shantanu Mehrotra from Indian Accent. Chef Manish Mehrotra will bring his innovative gastronomy, a medley of traditional Indian dishes with global ingredients and techniques at this culinary residency, together with Chef Shantanu Mehrotra and a team of 40 members.
The programme will feature Chef Manish Mehrotra’s iconic dishes such as Kanyakumari Crab with Sago Pongal and a delicate serving of caviar, followed by a decadent dessert featuring a Doda Burfi Treacle Tart glazed with caramelized milk ice-cream. Diners can expect exciting dishes such as succulent Wagyu Pathar Kebab with bone marrow Nihari adorned with lily bud.
This culinary residency will run from May 9 to 25, 2023 at the Mandala Club. The gastronomic experience will feature a choice of 4-,7- or 9-course menus starting at SG$188++ for lunch, and SG$238++ for dinner.
