Radisson Hotel Group is set to debut in Srinagar with the inauguration of Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront, thus expanding its presence in India. The hotel group chose the picturesque River Jhelum for its eighth operational establishment in the region, comprising 212 rooms, making it the largest Radisson property in Jammu and Kashmir.
Inside, the hotel’s interior design intricately captures the essence of Kashmir’s heritage, culture, and art, with elements inspired by authentic motifs, and the iconic geometrical star-patterned jali commonly found in Kashmiri architecture.
Artworks depicting the elaborate embroidery techniques of Kashmiri shawls and carpets adorn the space, enhancing the cultural ambiance. A spacious banquet hall spanning 5,000 sq. ft., adorned with diverse Kashmiri art, Mumtaz is one of the largest pillar-less banquet halls in the Kashmir valley. For smaller meetings, Zewar makes for the perfect venue.
