In September 2026, the Peninsula Motoring Series will make its European debut with a six-day driving experience through the Scottish Highlands, offering an intimate group of motoring enthusiasts a rare blend of epic scenery, historic estates, and shared moments on the open road.
Launching on September 21, 2026, The Peninsula Motoring Series, Scotland marks the latest chapter in the brand’s global automotive programme, following editions in Japan and California. Designed for a small, like-minded community of drivers, the journey reflects a growing trend in luxury travel: experiences defined less by destinations and more by meaningful connections.

The experience begins at The Peninsula London, where participants gather to dine, exchange stories, and meet fellow travellers before visiting the Royal Automobile Club. From there, guests fly to Edinburgh and continue on to the legendary Gleneagles estate, where a curated collection of classic, era-specific vehicles awaits—serving as both transport and centrepiece for the journey ahead.
Over six days, the route winds north through some of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes, from the forests and lochs of Cairngorms National Park to the elevated Applecross Pass, renowned for its sweeping Highland views. Days are spent navigating exhilarating mountain passes and coastal roads, punctuated by leisurely lunches at traditional inns and scenic stops along quiet glens.
Guests will enjoy a three-night stay at an exclusive historic estate surrounded by gardens and woodland, immersing themselves in local culture through regional cuisine, Scotland’s whisky heritage, and time-honored local pursuits such as falconry, archery, axe throwing, and private Scotch tastings.
Participation in The Peninsula Motoring Series, Scotland is priced at GBP 27,500 per car for two guests, inclusive of five nights’ accommodation, all meals, curated activities, and driving experiences.
The Scottish Highlands journey joins a growing portfolio of Peninsula motoring events worldwide. From August 10-12, 2026, The Peninsula Motoring Series, California, widely known as The Quail Rally, will return to Monterey for its 29th year as a cornerstone of Monterey Car Week. The three-day drive features iconic routes along Big Sur and the Santa Cruz Mountains, VIP access to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and entry to The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
Participation in the California experience is priced at USD 10,500 per car for two guests, with accommodation at The Quail Lodge available separately.
