World-cuisine atelier, The Qube at The Leela Palace, New Delhi, officially relaunched recently, becoming India’s first ever restaurant featuring a digital art gallery. The all-day fine dining restaurant with lush garden views has been an integral part of The Leela Palace New Delhi for the past 15 years. The newly reimagined landmark space artfully blends global cuisine, immersive design and digital storytelling.

In its new avatar, The Qube has collaborated with Masha Art to unveil a dynamic digital art wall – an evolving canvas that brings together contemporary digital masterpieces and curated artistic expressions. As soon as one walks into the space, one is greeted by a gallery consisting of ornate frames with vintage photographs and embroidered emblems in red and gold. These curated relics are a tribute to Delhi’s iconic architecture, regal heritage and timeless elegance.
“With the reimagined Qube, we have created a destination where gastronomy meets immersive digital art – transforming every meal into a visual and sensory journey. As a brand that has long championed artistic expression, we’re proud to bring forth a space where every element — on the plate and beyond — is crafted to inspire and linger long after the moment has passed,” said Anupam Dasgupta, Senior Vice President – Operations (North India) and Head of Wellness at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

The state-of-the-art LED digital art wall at The Qube evolves with time and tone. The living canvas features a rotating collection of digital artworks by celebrated and upcoming Indian artists, such as Shrikant Kadam, Swaraj Das, Seema Kohli and Rajesh Badaria.
“The transformation of The Qube is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to evolving the definition of luxury. We’ve gone beyond reimagining a dining venue – we’ve curated an immersive experience where contemporary design, global flavours and digital art come together in harmony,” added Preeti Makhija, General Manager at The Leela Palace New Delhi.
Breakfast at the venue is an artisanal buffet spread using locally sourced ingredients and house-made preserves. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful, and walked me through the spread. Needless to say, there was a lot of great food waiting – and I was all set to dive in! I began with the beverage menu, which perfectly complements the culinary experience with inventive, seasonal offerings – from no-proof cocktails like the Kokum Collins and Curry Leaf Gimlet to tea-infused blends such as the Chai Martini and Smoked Masala Negroni.

I next went onto the salads, some of which that particularly caught my attention included the ones made of seasonal raw mango and as well as fresh asparagus and tofu. Afternoons offer a vibrant buffet with flavours from across the world, ranging from India’s hyperlocal delicacies to the best of Europe and a continental selection of Mediterranean preparations. Some of my personal favourites were the Okonomiyaki (a savoury Japanese pancake), ragi uttapam and the Wasabi cucumber sushi. The Delhi 6 murgh tikka, rainbow chaat and Calcutta chicken biryani were most appealing in the Indian section.
I also got to know that evenings present an all-new à la carte menu curated by Chef Ashmeet Singh Jolly, a celebrated name in Delhi’s gastronomic circle, who has been a part of The Qube since the hotel’s pre-opening. The newly launched experiential Thai dining studio also takes centrestage every evening at The Qube. Led by Chef Krung Thong, a native of Thailand, the menu is inspired by the home-cooked meals of his childhood and traditional techniques passed down through generations. The menu uses authentic ingredients such as kaffir lime, galangal, jasmine rice and ruby water chestnuts.

The dessert section was another huge and rather tempting spread, and I managed to feast on some delicious biscoff cheesecake, triple chocolate verrine and lemon meringue eclaire. Further, every Sunday is host to themed brunches, pairing expansive gourmet spreads and live stations with curated digital art and ambient music.
In all, a dining experience at The Qube goes much beyond a delectable meal – it’s a cultural feast for the senses.
