Timeless Treasures: The 8 Best Watches from LVMH Watch Week 2025

Nine of the biggest names under the LVMH umbrella showcased their latest innovations at the recently held LVMH Watch Week. From versatile chronographs and stunning dials to ingenious designs and breathtaking jewellery, here’s a look at our favourites.

Despite the change in the venue (from Los Angeles to New York), the fifth annual LVMH Watch Week hasn’t disappointed, showcasing a variety of timepieces that push the boundaries of design, technology and legacy.

The acquisition of legacy names Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta (through their acquisition of Bulgari) has gradually helped LVMH to solidify its foothold in the world of horology. Iconic brands like TAG Heuer, Zenith, Hublot, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co, Louis Vuitton and L’Epée 1839 also reiterated their prowess during the Week, making the showcase even more enjoyable. Having said that, there are a few timepieces that caught our eyes!

1. Best in Versatility & Sophistication – TAG Heuer Carrera Date 36MM

For the LVMH Watch Week, TAG is probably the only brand to have launched not one or two, but six new watches. Named after the Carrera Panamericana Road race, the 2025 TAG Heuer Carrera Date 36mm edition goes powdery pink and lilac. The powdery pink features a sunray-brushed dial, while the lilac model has a distinct snail-brushed dial. The Carrera timepiece is encrusted with 11 diamonds, totalling 0.2 carats, giving the watch a touch of opulence.

Powered by the latest Caliber 7 automatic movement and a 56-hour power reserve, the TAG Heuer Carrera Date is ready to be paired for any occasion, style and mood.

2. Best in Old World Charm – Daniel Roth Extra Plat Souscription

The revival of the Swiss watchmaking brand with its leading watchmakers Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasin in 2023 excited us to see what innovations will come. While the Souscription Tourbillon had too much going on, the Extra Plat Souscription is understated and demure – very mindful, indeed! Limited to only 20 pieces, this revived Souscription is crafted in solid yellow gold and features the brand’s signature Clou De Paris Guilloche dial, which takes two days to complete. With water resistance up to 30 metres and an ultra-thin DR002 movement, the Extra Plat Souscription has a sleek calfskin leather strap. Simple and timeless, this Daniel Roth certainly follows the trend du jour.

3. Best in Artistry – Louis Vuitton Tambour Convergence

Louis Vuitton’s watch vertical isn’t in the mood to play it safe or be predictable. The Louis Vuitton Tambour Convergence is a convergence of Louis Vuitton ateliers – La Fabrique du Temps, La Fabrique des Boîtiers, and La Fabrique des Arts – that bring together a timepiece that pays homage to the montres à guichet from a bygone era in the brand’s classic Tambour case. Featuring a dragging display with Arabic numerals, wherein the hands are replaced by moving discs that jump to display the current time – the hours rotate clockwise on the upper guichet, and the minutes occupy the lower arch. The timepiece is 37mm wide, smaller than the regular watches, and features the latest in-house automatic movement-calibre LFT MA01.01 with a power reserve of 45 hours.

The watch is offered in two precious metal models – 18k pink gold and a platinum case with diamonds set on the case front. But these aren’t the only things that make it unique; the watch fronts can be customised with miniature artwork and designs!

4. Best in Vibrancy – Gérald Genta Gentissima Oursin Fire Opal

Along with the revival of Daniel Roth, LVMH also announced the relaunch of Gérald Genta, the renowned Swiss watchmaker known for his geometric precision, who has given us iconic designs like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Patek Philippe Nautilus, to name a few. The brand has launched the extension of its Gentissima Oursin collection – the Gentissima Oursin Fire Opal. The sea urchin-inspired dial, sized 36mm, is made out of yellow gold with 137 individually screwed fire opals that surround a vibrant orange cornelian dial. The octagonally-faceted sapphire crystal and a slightly octagonal inner edge are the designer’s signature. These fire opals are a nature’s marvel that emerge from the volcanic depths of Mexico after reacting to the silica-rich water, which gives it its vibrant hues. The beaded opals on the dial are a breath of modern air over the traditional techniques of jewel encrusting – a venue we are hoping the brand will dive further into!

5. Best for Year of the Snake – Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori and Tubogas

Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti collection gets an extension, with 2025 being, luckily, the year of the snake. The Sepenti Seduttori and Tubogas are the two launches from the brand that boost the signature snake design, including an oval snake head with a scaly bracelet. The watch bears the Solotempo BVS100 Automatic movement, an updated version of the 2023 Piccolissimo movement, and 2022 BVL150 Tourbillon, and the result weighs only 5 grams!

The Seduttori will be available in yellow gold set with diamond pavé, rose gold, white gold set with diamond pavé rose gold, and stainless steel, while Tubogas will be available in rose gold. Both watches have a 50-hour power reserve. Nobody can do the snake better than Bvlagri.

6. Best Collaboration – TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph

Recently announced as the official watch partner for Formula 1, Tag Heuer has introduced five new chronographs for the occasion, including one with Oracle Red Bull Racing. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection continues to push the boundaries of design and performance, reflecting the true spirit of the race. The colour ring-framed aluminium tachymeter bezel is inspired by F1 precision engineering, giving it a skeletal hand for its modern, technological touch. Each of these timepieces reflect the energy of night racing in the concept of “Grand Prix by night,” with dark tones and bursts of vibrant colour. The collection is a series of unique expressions through red accent tones and a strap for the first model, blue tones and a bi-coloured strap for the third, and lively lime green for the fourth. The dynamic interplay of colour between the bezel and case, combined with running tracks on the black opaline dial, gives the collection kinetic energy, bringing movement and excitement to the wrist.

7. Best Performance – Hublot’s Big Bang MECA-10

Hublot launched the MECA-10 series in 2016, and it has been an instant hit. After the Magic Gold, Blue Ceramic in 2017, 2020 saw the launch of the Spirit’s case shape. For the 2025 LVMH Watch Week, Hublot has launched three new iterations in King Gold, Frosted Carbon and Titanium. An edgy skeleton movement, modern material and robust 10-day power reserve are fitted in a 42mm versus 45mm model.

The power reserve display is modified with the last two days of power reserve highlighted in red – a hint to wind the watch again. The one-click interchangeable strap system adds versatility to the timepiece without needing tools.

8. Best Jeweled – Tiffany & Co. Bird on the Rock Watch

If it’s a Tiffany’s timepiece, it has to be bejewelled and rare. One such iteration is the Bird on a Rock Watch by the brand’s most creative designer, Jean Schlumberger. Bringing back the 1965 brooch design to the wrist are two watch iterations that define the level of craftsmanship and technical expertise of the artisans at the brand. The Tsavorite watch has 742 round diamonds weighing about 6.0 carats. Of them, 413 brilliant diamonds sit on the 18k white gold case, 166 round brilliants adorn the dial and the remaining 99 are placed on the bird. Thirty-six baguette tsavorites make a rotating ring set weighing about 5.4 carats.

The Full Pavé Diamond Watch showcases over 1,300 diamonds, adding to 8 carats. The central dial comprises 204 diamonds with 30 baguette aquamarines, making the outer ring. The 18k white gold bracelet is set with 628 diamonds. How many more diamonds can one need?
