A high hill of orange cashmere or the designs themselves, the mastermind behind Zegna’s Winter collection show had the guests quite bemused.
One after another intricate designs were revealed to the onlookers as small fragments of bright orange cashmere rained right at the center of the show. While you’re appreciating the designer for the display, the intricate tailoring, and the eye-catching shapes take you by surprise.
At the heart of Zegna, cashmere has been reimagined with new textures, shapes, and colors. Changes are seen in spacious pockets, adopting loose sleeves or collars. Ribbed and padded jumpers are meant as Outerwear.
The collection features coats that embrace volumes, and distinctive pieces like double-collared blazers, collarless anoraks, the innovative “Il Conte” jacket, and trousers.
Overshirts and boxy jackets, adorned with thoughtfully placed pockets, not only emphasize functionality but also compliment your personality.
Alessandro Sartori, Zegna’s Artistic Director, said, “As both a physical place and a mindset, Oasi Zegna, the center of our world, is a veritable lab: a place in which we can tirelessly explore new fabrications, develop new forms, devise forward-looking clothing solutions suited for the now. Here, we experiment with the most exquisite natural fibers and dyes, while decoding functions and recoding lines to create an open system of elements that frees personal interpretation. We do so in a constant lookout for beauty and excellence with a responsible commitment towards the environment, following a wholesome idea of fashion as transformation: of fabrics, colors, silhouettes.”
The collection also introduced newly created Triple Stitch TM “Monte” soft satchels and neatly designed handbags. The new collection not only epitomizes the warmth of cashmere but also doesn’t deviate from style.
