Indian watch retailer, Ethos Limited, has opened the country’s first Qlocktwo Gallery in Bangalore’s UB City, located on the first floor of Canberra Block. As the exclusive distributor of Qlocktwo in India, Ethos brings a new dimension to luxury timekeeping, showcasing a curated range of Qlocktwo’s celebrated collections: the Creator’s Edition, Limited Edition, Pure Edition, and Steel Series, available in-gallery and online.
Since its founding in 2009 by Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, Qlocktwo has captivated collectors worldwide. The brand’s revolutionary approach lies in its unique, word-based time displays, crafted with the highest quality materials and expert craftsmanship.
Each Qlocktwo piece transforms traditional timekeeping into an art form, with words illuminating across the watch face to show the time in simple, written phrases rather than numbers. Over the years, this approach has garnered Qlocktwo more than 30 international awards, including the esteemed Red Dot Design Awards in 2019 and 2024, affirming its status as a leader in merging design, technology, and artistic innovation.
With the opening of the Bangalore gallery, Ethos Limited offers Indian luxury consumers an immersive experience into Qlocktwo’s artistry. This gallery caters to watch enthusiasts who appreciate the fusion of horological precision and artistic elegance. Thoughtfully designed, the space features a vertical grid system that optimizes wall space while ensuring each timepiece is highlighted individually. Furthermore, carefully curated color blocking on the walls enhances visual appeal, offering a cohesive and luxurious backdrop.
At the heart of the gallery, a high table showcases Qlocktwo’s miniature clocks at eye level, allowing customers to experience the intricate craftsmanship of these pieces in detail.
This gallery is part of Ethos Limited’s broader strategy to expand its luxury offerings and capture a growing segment of Indian consumers drawn to creativity and craftsmanship. With Qlocktwo’s signature pieces on display, visitors can explore how the brand combines interior design aesthetics with timekeeping in both clocks and wearable timepieces. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with materials and finishes chosen to reflect an understated sophistication that appeals to those with a discerning taste for modern luxury.
Pranav Saboo, Managing Director and CEO of Ethos Watches, expressed his excitement about the launch, saying, “We are thrilled to bring Qlocktwo’s artistic timepieces to India, a brand that merges art and timekeeping seamlessly. Qlocktwo’s award-winning designs and innovative concept will undoubtedly resonate with Indian consumers who appreciate luxury and creativity in craftsmanship.”
Ethos’ partnership with Qlocktwo also marks a significant step in diversifying its portfolio of luxury brands, as it continues to cater to India’s burgeoning market for high-end, artistic accessories. With this new gallery in Bangalore, Ethos Limited introduces a distinctive offering that appeals to both seasoned collectors and new admirers of Qlocktwo’s artful approach to horology.
