This C Seed X Bugatti 137-inch MicroLED television is built to retract into a sideboard

A second collaboration between the two brands, the N1 pairs C SEED’s retractable MicroLED technology with Bugatti’s design language to produce a 137-inch 4K display that deploys in 45 seconds.

Bugatti has built exactly 500 Chirons, 77 Divos, and 19 La Voiture Noires. Scarcity, in every form the brand touches, is a design principle. The C Seed Bugatti N1 follows that same logic, this time applied to a television.

The N1 is a 4K MicroLED display system available in 110- and 137-inch sizes that unfolds from a sculptural sideboard in 45 seconds. Press a button, and the screen rises. When viewing is done, it retracts completely. The cabinet returns. Nothing about the object, in its closed state, suggests there is a cinema inside it.

The Austria-based C Seed has been building large-format disappearing display systems since 2013, starting with outdoor retractable screens for superyachts and private estates. Its entry into Bugatti’s orbit is not accidental. Both companies operate in a market where the object itself must justify its existence beyond function, and both have built reputations on mechanical precision over specification alone.

The N1’s design draws from the Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar, specifically the C-line, the continuous sculpted side profile that runs through every significant car Bugatti has produced. In closed form, the N1 reads as a sideboard. Finishes are pulled from the Tourbillon’s own material palette, carbon fiber detailing is carried through the construction, and an exclusive Sculpture Silver finish is offered alongside fully bespoke color configurations.

Wiebke Ståhl, Managing Director at Bugatti International, said, “Inspired by Bugatti’s timeless philosophy of ‘Art, Forme, Technique,’ our partnership with C Seed unites design mastery, engineering precision and uncompromising performance. Together, we create an authentic expression of Bugatti excellence beyond the road; one that brings substance, credibility and distinction to the discerning world of ultra-luxury lifestyle.”

On the display side, the N1 runs next-generation MicroLED MiP technology. Smaller chip sizes reduce the non-emissive area between pixels, which directly improves black levels, contrast, and image sharpness compared to standard MicroLED panels. It supports HDR10+, carries a specially engineered anti-glare surface coating, and uses C Seed’s patented Adaptive Gap Calibration (AGC) technology. Panel seams have been the most persistent flaw in large-format modular MicroLED systems, and AGC is the company’s solution to making those transitions functionally invisible at viewing distance.

A center-sliding mechanism governs the unfolding process, keeping the motion balanced across both sides of the screen. The N1 also supports 180-degree screen rotation for installation flexibility. It is engineered and manufactured in Austria.

Alexander Swatek, CEO of C Seed, said, “With the C Seed Bugatti N1 we did not want to create a better television; we wanted to create something that no longer belongs to the television category. C Seed is not ‘just a TV,’ just as a Bugatti is not ‘just a car.’ Bugatti transforms engineering into art, provoking incomparable emotion on the road. At C Seed, we strive to achieve something very similar within architecture and living spaces.”

Audio is handled by Wisdom Audio, using planar magnetic driver technology. Planar magnetic speakers move a large, flat diaphragm across the entire driver surface rather than pushing a cone from a single point, which produces more even sound dispersion and lower distortion at high output. The speakers extend from the cabinet during use and retract fully when not in use.

The N1 is available through an exclusive network of authorized dealers worldwide. Bugatti’s lifestyle extensions have historically been few and carefully managed, from the Bugatti residences in Dubai developed with Binghatti, to limited watch collaborations with Jacob and Co. The N1 fits that pattern. More than a brand exercise, the C Seed Bugatti N1 is a carefully engineered product.
