The Cleanser was love at first wash
You know that fresh, post-facial feeling that makes you want to check yourself out in every mirror? That’s what this cleanser did for me. From the first wash I could tell it was different. It is gentle yet effective. It lathers just enough, cleanses without stripping, and left my skin feeling awake – not tight, not parched – just refreshed and radiant. In Mumbai’s sticky weather, that’s a tall order, but this one delivers.
Simply named Refreshing Facial Cleaner, its key ingredients—rose and seaweed extracts—play their part well. Rose extract soothes and calms the skin while seaweed, packed with minerals and antioxidants, helps retain moisture. And despite my initial concern about seaweed (not an ingredient I have tried before) it turns out to be a powerhouse for hydration and skin health.
The Serum – works as expected, yet doesn’t quite steal the spotlight
I applied the Rejuvenating Facial Serum morning and night religiously, hoping for a skin transformation. Did my skin feel hydrated? Sure. Did it look plumper? Maybe a little. If you’re looking for a gentle, no-fuss hydration boost, then this will do the trick. It’s not the type of product that dramatically transforms your skin overnight but it’s a solid addition to a daily routine.
With a lightweight, non-sticky texture it absorbs quickly and layers well under sunscreen and makeup. The formula includes plant-based squalane known for locking in moisture, antioxidants to protect against environmental stressors, and hyaluronic acid – a skincare staple for hydration. It did provide consistent, everyday hydration without any irritation which, for sensitive skin types, is a big plus.
The packaging is premium and eye-catching. The bottles feel weighty and well-designed with a luxe matte finish that rivals high-end international skincare brands. Designed for both aesthetics and functionality, the precision pump dispenses just the right amount of product. Every detail, including the ergonomic design, speaks to a thoughtfully engineered experience—one that feels just as indulgent on your vanity as it does on your skin.
Overall, this duo works well together—cleanse, hydrate, repeat.
Would I buy this bundle again? The cleanser 100% yes. It’s become my go-to for its fresh, hydrating, and soothing effect. If you’re looking for deep hydration or visible brightening, you might want to pair the serum with something more active. But if you need a gentle everyday serum to keep your skin soft and nourished, it’s a good pick.
Overall, this duo works well together—cleanse, hydrate, repeat. If your skin craves moisture but hates anything too heavy, especially in humid weather, Twenty-Seven definitely offers a balanced no-fuss routine.
In the coming months, Twenty-Seven plans to launch their moisturiser and sunscreen. Considering the effectiveness of their serum and cleanser, we do have high expectations from the new products. Until then, give Twenty-Seven a shot.
