This festive season, devotion takes on a new form as Thomas Goode and House of Herend unveil a limited-edition Ganesha exclusively in New Delhi. The collaboration blends two centuries-old traditions, European porcelain mastery and India’s spiritual symbolism, into a collectible designed for celebration and continuity.

Thomas Goode, established in 1827 and known for luxury tableware and collectibles, has long been part of refined dining and design. Hungary-based House of Herend, founded in 1826 and admired worldwide for its hand-painted porcelain, represents a legacy of craftsmanship that continues to be celebrated across generations. This partnership results in a creation that speaks equally to faith and form, bringing symbolic depth into the language of design.
The Herend Ganesha has been exclusively designed for Thomas Goode and reflects a commitment to detail. Each figurine is hand-sculpted, painted in vibrant hues, and finished with three layers of pure 24-carat liquid gold. The result is a porcelain piece that is both a symbol of prosperity and a work of art, made to resonate with families and collectors alike.

Available only at the Thomas Goode store at The Oberoi, New Delhi, the figurine is being introduced as one of the key festive offerings this year.
Reshma Khattar Bhagat, Director of Thomas Goode, said, “This collaboration brings together two legacies of craftsmanship in a way that feels deeply personal to India. The Herend Ganesha is not just an object of beauty but a piece that celebrates faith, family, and tradition. We are proud to introduce this to India as an heirloom for generations.”

From Lladro to Chopard, Ganesha has been an enduring symbol of Indianness for many international brands. By introducing the Herend Ganesha, House of Herend is not only marking a cultural connection with India, but also positioning the figurine as an heirloom that bridges tradition and modern luxury in a distinctly personal way.
